Some books I missed recording...

Seeing by Jose Saramago. The most boring and uninspired novel of his I've read. From an author with such extraordinary work, Blindness, and Balthasar and Blimunda, this is a tremendous disappointment. The Inner Game of Tennis by Timothy Gallwey. This is a seminal work in sports psychology. No matter what your sport is, this is a must-read. Lots more suff, when I have time to recall what I've read in the last few months!

Old Man's War

John Scalzi's Old Man's War. So far, so good. The first chapter nicely evokes the youthful desire to run off and do something different, but transplanted into a 75 year old.

Eric Flint's 1632. Not what I expected, but a fun read. Am I ready to grab all the sequels... not yet. But maybe when I'm looking for some more "West Virginians in the 30 Years War" I will.
